Campaign Information 16th April

The building company Rok, is currently running a nationwide campaign to boost the UK economy and encourage the public to take an interest in the maintenance of their homes and community buildings. Rok is calling on the UK Government to lower the VAT on property repair work from 17.5% to 5 % and has launched a petition ...on the Downing Street website.

On the 17th of March Rok will launch the “Repairing Scotland” campaign to encourage Scots to get behind the campaign and reach our aim of collecting 10 000 signatures on the petition.

Until the Scottish campaign launch there are a number of things you can do to help us collect as many votes as possible.

1. Firstly sign up to the petition here http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/repairingbritain/. It takes two minutes to sign up! Please remember to click the link in the confirmation email so that your signature is recorded.
